Roy Mathers
I wonder if someone can help me please. I want to print a couple of photographs for insertion into a locket. As you can imagine, the finished size is very small (about 15mm square). I realise that I will have to print them on larger paper, but how to I keep them at the required size? I'm relatively new to Affinity Photo, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Alfred
Create a new document at the paper size you intend to use, and then use the Place command (found on the File menu) to add each of the photographs. You can resize a photo precisely by selecting it on the APh canvas and using the W and H controls in the Transform panel. jamesholden 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
Roy Mathers
That's wonderful - thank you. One subsidiary question, if I may. Although I have changed the measurement criteria to millimetres, the resize box show inches. How do I change that please?
Old Bruce
Use "x mm" in the 'resize box' AKA Transform Studio. Or change the Document Units to mm in the New Document dialog and start over if you are not too far along. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

That would be better/best. Forgot about that one. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.
