SVG get rasterized while exporting from Export persona in Custromer Beta v1.7.0.258

Having the .afdesign file would be helpful, too.

With more testing I found that custom preset with Rasterize explicitly set to "Nothing" workarounds the issue, successfully exporting SVG as vector

But, did it give you an SVG with everything you had in your .afdesign file? Or did it throw away the effects that would have required rasterization?

The .afdesign file (attached to my previous message) did not contain anything except a single vector curve with a solid color fill. So for this specific file Designer gives me the correct output with Rasterize:Nothing, but it will of course fail to do so when output partially contains bitmaps or effects that should be rasterized.

Check to see if you have set the Opacity of any layer - or the Artboard itself - to anything other than 100%.
I found out a while ago that an Opacity of less than 100% can - under certain circumstances, at least - make Designer export as a raster.
My original thread can be found here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/63393-is-it-expected-designer-behaviour-to-get-a-raster-output-when-exporting-to-an-svg-with-an-opacity-of-less-than-100/

Hello. Tell me please. When will the program update?

I have the same problem. Only with all formats (PDF, EPS, SVG, etc.).

The program has problems with export. Not in the formats of the problem, but specifically in the export.

------------

Hi SlavaUX,

As mentioned in the linked post above from Voidsea it is being caused by the Artboard - removing this will allow the objects to be exported correctly. This is currently being looked into by development!

Thanks for letting us know!
