Rick G Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 Old bugs have returned I tried to load 4 small graphics and the program hung the system which slowed to a crawl and finally stopped. I had to shut it off with the switch then reboot Then it locked up graphics. After closing them out or Photo they could not be moved as photo was locking them I tried to close Photo and it could not be closed as a file was still open. The ONLY way to close Photo was via the task manager (I though you guys were going to trap that out so we could close it?) drphoto Posted March 13, 2019 Share Posted March 13, 2019 I wonder if its an Affinity Photo + Windows 10 issue, I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro, and other than two issues I've noted (feature operation related), so far performance is much better than 1.6.5, especially with large 16-bit TIFF files. They had a problem with EFTOOL doing that and fixed it. Usually I load several files, edit and close them one by one. Then I may move them from my work folder. That is when the issue may or may not come up I will get either the message I posted above and / or Photo can't be closed because a file is open and there is of course, no file open snd I have to kill it with Task mangler It has happened 3 times today and a bunch of times yesterday. This happened in a previous beta but was apparently fixed Could they also trap that close error and let us close the program anyway?
