casterle Posted March 11, 2019 Share Posted March 11, 2019 When I'm editing a layer mask, I'd like the same view modes I have for Quick Mask. As I'm viewing my image and painting in/out the masked bits, all I can see is the image and not the mask itself. If I want to see the mask, I have to move over to the mask thumbnail, press Alt and click on the thumbnail. Then to return to the image, I have to click on some other layer, then remember to click on the mask thumbnail before resuming my task. This is error prone (I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to click on the mask thumbnail before resuming brush-work) and disruptive, drawing my attention from the task at hand. Please, while I'm editing give me one keystroke to enter mask view and another to return to image view. And don't forget to give me the same mask view options I have for Quick Mask.
