raguay Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 If my network printer on a Windows system is not available (ie: the windows computer isn't booted or is asleep), then Affinity Publisher will totally lockup. I have to use a kill command to stop it and relaunch after the printer is available.
Staff Pauls Posted March 11, 2019 Staff Posted March 11, 2019 so this is a printer on a windows network to which your mac is connected ?
raguay Posted March 11, 2019 Author Posted March 11, 2019 Yes. The printer, a Canon 410, is connected to a Windows 10 system. I connect my MacBook Air to it over the WiFi network in our house. If the windows computer is sleeping, off, or the printer is off, Affinity Publisher latest beta will go into an endless loop I guess. I have to kill the process from command line. But, once I wake up the system, it prints fine.
