I am trying to view the layers palette as shown in the Beginner's tutorial without success. I went to view, down to studio and clicked on layers but nothing shows. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get the layers to show?

Hi ToniD and Welcome to the Forums,

Just make sure on the Studio menu that Layers is showing as ticked, by default this is enabled so it's possible its now been disabled.  Once you can confirm it's ticked, then it should be on screen.  If you still can't see it, go back to the Studio menu and select Reset Studio and that should put the Layers Studio back in place on the right handside :)

It would help to see a screenshot of the complete application window so we can see what you're seeing.
