Object clipped to shape/curve at angle show aliasing

Recommended Posts

I'm having this recurring issue, where if I clip something to a shape/curve at an angle the original shape/curve fill bleeds into the edge, which is particularly obvious when clipping a light color to a dark color as shown here:

Can anybody help?  Much appreciated

Make sure you have Precise clipping enabled in Preferences: Performance.

You also have a slight colour shift between the nested colour and the background

Hi, junovhs,

This is a known problem, and one that is not trivial to do away with in the code.  From what I gather, the anti-aliasing routine picks up a trace of a background color. The work around is to add a centered edge stroke. In your file, if a stroke of the same aqua color is placed on the black shape, the dashed line goes away.

EDIT, and what firstdefence said.
