TinaT
I truly hope this is the appropriate space for this type of question coming from a semi-newbie. My question is how to remove the excess empty space around an asset so that the bounding box handles stay fully on the page once place onto the working space. I’ve attached a sample photo and would appreciate any assistance or direction to a helpful resource. Thank you so very much.
Staff Dan C Posted March 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 9, 2019 Hi TinaT, Welcome to the forums I've not seen this happen on an iPad before, could you please upload a copy of the .afdesign file pictured above so I can investigate this? Is this happening with all objects you select, only certain objects or only certain assets? TinaT
Thanks, Dan, for the welcome and your response. This only happens with some objects/assets. This example is of a placed image that was shifted into its proper position on the document, which leaves the box off page instead of bringing it to the edge of the document, . I have tried various methods to get around this issue to no avail. It could be an operator error or an action that I’m unfamiliar with... Thanks for taking the time to look at it. Just let me know if you have any troubles with the uploaded file. I truly appreciate you. Untitled_1.afdesign
DM1
It’s an 'image', probably pasted. Rasterise it and It will be fine. Staff Dan C Posted March 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 10, 2019 No problem at all! DM1 is correct, as the image has been placed it is an (Image) layer rather than a (Pixel) layer. If you select the object and then rasterise it from the drop down menu in the top left then your bounding box will be correctly set to the pixel object. I hope this helps TinaT 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. DM1
@TinaT If you are new to AD on IPad, the PDF Help file allows you to read help while using the app. Some very good info there as it is all Serif info.
