How can I import Color Palettes en masse?

Recommended Posts

2 questions really—I am finding the default palettes a little limited

So i. is there somewhere we can download a bunch of color palettes together and ii can they (the palettes) all be imported all in one go?

I'm dreading the thought of creating all the palettes I need manually.

Not as far as I’m aware, but I’d be delighted to be proved wrong!

Apologies, Alfred is correct in his above post - this is not currently possible as Palette files must be imported individually.

There is a way... on Mac at least,

If you can collect the palettes as .clr palettes (Apple Color Palette) you could drop all the palettes you want into the Colors folder: Users > Yourname > Library > Colors
From there these palettes will show in the swatches panel as apple palettes icons8-mac_os.png.1e3a8eb2c092b0b8797f0dac874a418f.pngwhich has the bonus of being available systemwide in any app that can use .clr palettes.

Multiple .afpalette files can be selected and dragged from File Manager to APh or Ad in one operation using the 1.7 current beta

(Windows 8.1)

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
