[1.7.0.258] Arrowheads get clipped when adding constraints

Recommended Posts

Wanted to try and create a connector (for flow diagram type illustrations) using the new arrowheads on strokes feature.

  1. Create a number of lines, to form the connector.
  2. Add arrowheads to the start and end.
  3. Group.
  4. Apply a constraint to one of the objects in the group.

Result: The arrowheads get clipped to the area of the group.

Desired: The arrowheads are unaffected by the constraint.

Same thing happens to drop shadows, they are clipped when constrained. @Aammppaa, maybe you may work around this the same way I do with shadows, i.e. by including a larger object in the group before creating any constraints, then removing the object after the constraints are in place.
