Adding Multiply Gradients to a Shape

Recommended Posts

Hello Brian Nguyen,

To my knowledge there is no way to directly apply a square gradient to a shape.
As a workaround, you can draw a square, apply a linear gradient with the dark end on one of the corners of the square, and the light end in the center of the square.
Duplicate the square, rotate it 90°, repeat the operation twice more to obtain four squares.
Select the set, turn the mixture to "Darken", "Product" or "Exclusion" according to the desired result. Group the whole thing together.

The latest beta may do what you want.  It's a new feature so not much information/examples available on it as yet

Where in AD can I find this "Multiple stroke/fill" appearance panel

View > Studio > Appearance. This is in the latest Beta.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
