RMElmore
I have a Mac Desktop running Mojave and a Nikon Z6. I have Affinity Photo 1.6.7. I've copied images to the desktop. I open Affinity. File>Open and pick the image. It opens As distorted, with horizontal multi-colored streaks. This happens with all my RAW files. JPEG files open without any problems. I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this maddening problem. Thanks. Mike MTE_0490.NEF
Staff MEB Posted March 8, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 8, 2019 Hi RMElmore, Welcome to Affinity Forums Currently our RAW engine (Serif Labs) don't support uncompressed NEF files from the Nikon Z6 (only lossless compressed files) but if you change the RAW engine to Apple (Core Image RAW) you should be able to load them. To do it, open a RAW file, go to menu View ▸ Assistant Manager... and change the first dropdown (RAW engine) to Apple (Core Image RAW). Reload the RAW file to use the new setting.
