MacMik
I've tested the feature but when I'm insert the table of contents on the last side of a document, it doesn't work. On the first side all is fine! Mik
walt.farrell
What do you mean by "it doesn't work"? Is it empty? Are there any messages? There's an option in the Table of Contents Studio panel to use headings that occur before the ToC. Have you enabled that option? -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. MacMik
Hi Walt, I use the latest update of the Affinity Publisher. I switched the language into German. At first, I created a document with paragraph styles headlines, content, images and so on. Headline and the options are set correct (see screenshot-1). Furthermore I have placed a textbox and insert the table of contents (look at screenshot-2) and all will work fine. Now I'm going through the same procedure as before only on the last side. Now I get the message that 'no table of contents entries found'. (see screenshot-3) You know this problem? In my opinion, the algorithm will not find any entries if the fields are created after a heading (or other content). By the way - I get the same error message on the second-last page. Now I hope, my description is accurate enough. Kind regards Mik
walt.farrell
From your screenshots you have not enabled the option I suggested earlier, to include entries that occur before the TOC: -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
