kgbearcat
I am creating a logo with text on a circle path. The letters don't seem to be aligned quite right. The angle of some of them are off a little bit. In the file attached, look at the M and B in Lumber. If anybody could help me fix this, it would be great. I am testing this software, and if I can get this fixed, want to purchase it. ADI Team Logo.afdesign
Staff MattP Posted April 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted April 15, 2015 Hi kgbearcat, I agree that just doesn't look quite right - I'll talk to Dave (who is our guru of all things text-related) when he gets in today and work out what's happening and we'll get back to you :) Thanks, Matt
Dave Harris
Thanks for the report. The text has 200% tracking, which it looks like we don't take into account properly. I'll get that fixed. As an aside, I notice you have made two circles for the text. You could do the design by putting the two pieces of text on a single circle, with a line break between them. Also, using a smaller circle would avoid the need to shift the baseline so much, which in turn would avoid the need for the 200% tracking. Dave Harris
This should be fixed in the next beta.
