Tschaikowsky
Hi, I just discovered this site/forum, and have a question. I apologize if this has been asked elsewhere (was unable to find it). Are Designer and Photo two separate programs? On App store, I only find Designer. If they are two separate, how much is Photo? Thanks for any help! Staff MEB Posted April 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted April 13, 2015 Hi 88Keys, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, they are separate programs. Affinity Photo is not available for purchase yet. It's still in development. You can download a public beta from here (you must sign-up at the bottom to receive an e-mail with the link). Tschaikowsky
Thanks very much Meb for the fast response and help :). I've been a long time Photoshop user, but am definitely going to buy Designer and register for Photo beta. Can JPG be imported to Photo in addition to PSD I see in video can be? What is estimated release date for Photo?
Staff MEB Posted April 14, 2015 Staff Share Posted April 14, 2015 Yes, you can import JPG and a lot more. There's no estimated release date for Affinity Photo at this point. It will be determined by the development team, based on quality of the product after testing. For more information check our FAQ.
