Hi..I originally made this design as a circle.  A client wants it in a 10x10 inch square.  It was much larger but I managed draw a square...but I need to get rid of the transparency and the black line so that only the turquoise is left in a square shape.  Sorry if this doesn't make sense...

Thanks!!

A few options I can think of are:

  1. Make the circle bigger to fit the square frame
  2. Adjust the curves and pull or add nodes to shape the curve shapes beyond the rectangles boundary.
  3. Add a turquoise background to the group and place it at the bottom of that group, add a gradient going top right to bottom left.

If you don't mind going raster you could always edit in Affinity Photo and use the Liquify Persona.

The simplest way is to create a document of the desired size, place an image of the design on the canvas — I used a screenshot for the attached — and then stretch the placed image until the unwanted parts lie beyond the edges of the canvas.

Try the crop tool

Set it to 10x10 inches (Absolute Size)

Adjust the crop size so it is inside the black lines and it encompases just the turquoise area (none of the transparent edges) then hit the Apply button to perform the crop

If you start with an ‘Absolute Size’ and adjust it, you’ll end up with a different size.

It changed sometime in the 1.7 betas, which is what I was using

Absolute Dimensions in the released product will change to a different size as you have said but Absolute Size in the 1.7 beta keeps the same size
