Hello

Just recently got Affinity Designer, and have a couple questions.

Is there any solution to export editabe text from Affinity Designer to After Effects? I tried to use PSD, but looks like text in PSDs from Affinity is not editable.

Thank you!

Try exporting your AD file to pdf, then importing that into AE. This may or may not work, but is worth a try.

On Mac there is a PSD export option to Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) but it still isn't editable text i.e. you can't change the letters from say Test to Text. if you drag the file back into Affinity Designer it opens with a Pixel Layer.

If you try to convert it to editable text in AE it gives this message

As others have said, try using PDF rather than PSD.

I tried PDF, it's not editable in AE.

I've found a single solution: export to SVG > import to Adobe XD > export to AE

But there is a little problem, export to SVG splits Frame text to bunch of text lines.

Is there a reason you don't just use the text option in AE?
