Staff MEB Posted March 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi Vmk, Welcome to Affinity Forums What Affinity Photo versions and OS are you using? Nik Collection by DxO (1.2.18) MACINTOSH Is compatible with Affinity Photo 1.6.7 (retail) - (with a few issues) Some plugins are NOT compatible with Affinity Photo Customer Beta 1.7.0.111 (Updating fonts error - requires force quit): HDR Efex Pro, Analog Efex Pro 2, Colour Efex Pro 4, Silver Efex Pro 2. The rest work correctly (Dfine 2, Sharpener, Viveza 2). WINDOWS Is compatible with Affinity Photo 1.6.5.123 from the Windows Store and Affinity Photo 1.6.5.135 from the Affinity Store - (with a few issues) Is compatible with Affinity Photo Customer Beta 1.7.0.251 - (with a few issues) Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted March 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi Vmk, I've updated the Affinity Photo versions in my reply above for Windows which were not correct, sorry. In any case the Nik Collection by DxO is working fine (with a few issues) on Windows. Have you followed the instructions as shown in this video (it's for the old Google version but the process is the same)? Can you post a screenshot of the Photoshop Plugins section in Affinity Photo Preferences so I can se how you have set it up please? Thanks. Staff MEB Posted March 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi Vmk, Remove those three entries you have there in the Plugin Search Folders section. Set the path to C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection instead and it should work. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
tomherren
Any news on when Viveza 2 will work correctly in Affinity Photo. With version 1.7 there are still wrong colours when an image is opened in Viveza 2. I still use the Nik Collection from Google and I don't plan to invest in the overpriced version from DxO. I am on Windows 10 and like Affinity Photo 1.7 a lot. Thanks in advance Thomas curio
