kangaroo-bowman
As the title states, adjusting the position of a node or nodes via Transform Studio’s Ⅹ or Y position dials completely fills the history. It seems like history is recording every single position update made with this tool, rather than only recording the new ‘end’ position once the adjustment has been made. This essentially means those changes cannot be undone. Susanne
Staff Gabe Posted March 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2019 Hi @kangaroo-bowman Welcome to the forums. That's not really a bug. When you use the transform studio, it will register every step as a history entry. I will move this to feature requests. Thanks, Gabe. kangaroo-bowman
Are you sure this is intended behaviour? If I use the dials with the move tool rather than the node tool, or use the rotate/shear dials, a single entry is added to the history after I release from the dial. It is only when moving a node (or nodes) via the dials that it adds hundreds of “move handles” entries to the history, which is often enough to fill it. Dragging a node around manually only adds a single entry too. Edited March 1, 2019 by kangaroo-bowman
Staff Gabe Posted March 1, 2019 Staff Share Posted March 1, 2019 Saying that it might actually be broken. I've logged it with our devs
