Reset Fills

This will delete any Application Palettes you've added to the Swatches Panel. It will also delete any colours added to the default palettes such as Grey, Colours & Gradients. This option is also available in Preferences > Misc > Reset Fills.

Thanks Gabe, tthis is where I managed to delete the palette from and wondered if there was a way to restore the default colour palattes (without reinstall)?

I'm not sure I follow you on this. If you go to  Affinity Preferences ▸ Miscellaneous and click Reset Fill , and then restart the app, your swatches will be reset to the system default ( Pantone Colours + Greys, Colours and Gradients.
