Polygonius Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 First of all: Big thanks for making assets available in AP. But the question/suggestion is coming on the feed: As long there is no bridge/smart-media-browser... (like stocks/spotlight...) for hdd-files, i would use assets for fast-access to my main folders/objects. But here the next problem - how can i "import" a whole folder or batch-import several files... as asset-category? Is this possible? I really really hate long click-marathon to come from X to Y and back to Z.... It would be so nice if "ASSETS" or stuff like this could be a shortcut to relavant files of my whole HD. One category (including subcategory) for brush-dips, another for textures, another displacement-files... an so on... all this INTERN, i just have to drag/drop from ther to the destination... does not matter where other tools/filter/the whole doc... was last time... as remerbered last folder (for ALL). Lot of different tools/other kinds of working needs different start-folders... or fast access-"assets". But however, so far a big thank you! Its evenin its limited version a big speed-up. Nana Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 This is an interesting use case. I would be interested too.

Polygonius Posted March 1, 2019 Author Posted March 1, 2019 Thank you carl. QOUTE: File > Place all your asset files into a new document (all at once, not one by one) Do not resize the assets when placing them or worry if they overlap the page or each other Then with all layers selected in the layers panel, go into the asset panel and use the option Add from Selection The idea with place i allready had, but the last step is really a "shortcut" :-) Thank you.
