Can't connect in stock panel through proxy

Recommended Posts

Whenever I want to search for some photos in the Stock panel I get the message "Connection Failed", because I can't define the settings for authentification. Is it planned that there will be preferences for this?

Does this happen on all three stock sites, or just on, perhaps, Pexels?

Hi MEB,

We are using a configured proxy which need authentication.

When connecting the following message appears:

image.png.6e67728cbc478eb0f7e37fbc6338fbb6.png

On the Proxyserver side I get the following message where you can see that the connection to the proxy is established, but without any Authentication.:

2020:02:26-13:26:01 proxy1 httpproxy[1327]: id="0003" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" name="http access" action="pass" method="CONNECT" srcip="X.X.X.X" dstip="" user="" group="" ad_domain="" statuscode="407" cached="0" profile="REF_HttProContaLfsrhNetwo (HTTPS)" filteraction=" ()" size="2599" request="0x8ebd800" url="https://s3.amazonaws.com/" referer="" error="" authtime="2" dnstime="0" aptptime="0" cattime="0" avscantime="0" fullreqtime="202" device="0" auth="2" ua="" exceptions=""

When I want to do the search on a Stock Page the proxies message is nearly the same:

2020:02:26-13:32:54 proxy1 httpproxy[1327]: id="0003" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" name="http access" action="pass" method="CONNECT" srcip="X.X.X.X" dstip="" user="" group="" ad_domain="" statuscode="407" cached="0" profile="REF_HttProContaLfsrhNetwo (HTTPS)" filteraction=" ()" size="2599" request="0xd7f47c00" url="https://api.pexels.com/" referer="" error="" authtime="4" dnstime="0" aptptime="0" cattime="0" avscantime="0" fullreqtime="392" device="0" auth="2" ua="Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0)" exceptions=""

The only difference is the URL, the application wants to connect to and from the stock page there is a User Agent sent. Both requests result in a 407 error which means that a proxy authentication is needed.
