AP Curves Adjustment Layer Dialog Closes Unexpectedly

Recommended Posts

Win 10 x64. Steps to reproduce (release and beta):

1) Add a Curves Adjustment
2) Select the Picker
3) Select a few points
4) Hit backspace to delete the last point
5) The Curves dialog closes and your Curves Adjustment is gone

As a bonus you are magically editing the Adjustment that was immediately below the Curves Adjustment in the Layer Stack.

Hi both,

When you use the picker tool, that point you've just created does not get selected. Therefore, hitting Delete or Backspace will delete the adjustment layer. To delete a node, you would need to select it, and it will become a black circle with a white stroke when selected.

I've moved this to feature requests as it's not a bug.

Thanks,

Gabe.

I'm sorry but I don't agree. Anytime a single keypress can result in the loss of work that is a bug. If the expected result from that keypress is closing a dialog, a confirmation must be provided.

Hitting delete on any selected layer(or adjustment) will delete them, with no confirmation. With no nodes selected, you only have the adjustment layer selected, so hitting delete will get rid of the adjustment layer (which is expected)
