itsbernie81 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Hi everyone! New to Affinity Photo and I would be grateful for some pointers. Here is a photo of Hong Kong's Mid-Levels district with half of it shrouded in thick spring fog. For whatever reason (I suspect it is just naturally so, as there were some patches of remnant light from the receding sun above), there are some patches of fog with a distinctively warmer colour tone. The patch in the centre is especially obvious. Would there be a way to gently adjust the white balance for that patch of warm colour in the centre of the shot so it blends with the tones around it? (And of course, any other suggestions welcome - I'm really very much at the learning phase.) Thanks much! Bernie Quote
firstdefence Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 What about using the colour picker to pick a colour from the bluish mist, then use a soft brush to paint that colour onto a new pixel layer and then set the pixel layer to Colour. A similar method would be to use a gradient diagonally with the blue mist tint at the top right hand corner and the other colour bottom left set to 0% opacity, then move the mid bar to the edge or just past the mist bank to again tint the slightly peachy mist colour.
