Waynoes Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 My affinity jpegs are exporting are opening in the raw suit in photoshop. This is not good for clients, most of them will still be using photoshop. I need JPEGs to open normally in photoshop and not the raw suit. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted February 21, 2019 Staff Posted February 21, 2019 Hi @Waynoes, Welcome to the forums. A jpeg file cannot contain any raw data, as it is an 8bit format. Also, we cannot export native RAW files (e.g .CR2, .NEF, ARW, .RAF, etc). It's either your jpeg association wrong (Default opening app being Adobe), or you're opening the wrong file. Thanks, Gabe. - S - Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 It could be due to their Photoshop settings. Have the images that are opening in Adobe Camera Raw been processed with Adobe Camera Raw at some point before? I no longer have Photoshop installed to try, however I recall there used to be a setting in Adobe Bridge Camera Raw Preferences that would automatically open JPEG or TIFF images in Adobe Camera Raw if they had Adobe Camera Raw settings.
