Exact control of rectangle/picture frame size

Recommended Posts

I'm feeling pretty silly. Once I create a rectangle or picture frame, I want to adjust it's exact size, not with handles, but entering the dimensions. But I cannot find the menu or tool to enter the information.

Help?

Thanks!

Hello @SOS,

welcome to the forum. Look for the 'Transform Studio'. By default it should be somewhere at the bottom right.
Make sure it is selected (has a check mark) in the menu 'View > Studio > Transform'.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, though, it does not appear, even though there is a check next to the View>Studio>Transform.  I even move the resize handles around, changing the size of the rectangle, looking to see if the changing size of the rectangle is reflected in some field somewhere in the app, and there's nothing.  See screen shot.

Nevermind. I decided to uncheck the transform in the studio menu, and then check it again, and it appeared.

Curious. But consider this question answered.

@SOS glad to see you up and running :)
