Costantino Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Hi. In my image I have a series of white rectangles with a thickness of 15 px on a black background. When I export the image in jpeg (but also in tiff, png etc.) the raster has some imperfections. I do not understand why, does anyone have any suggestions for me? Best regards Costantino Quote
Costantino Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 In the screenshots I show two problems in the exported jpg but not in the original images .aphoto. Quote

Costantino Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 Hi, I uploaded the file. Keep in mind that I'm a novice of Affinity Photo Best regards Costantino Quote
Quote

Costantino Posted February 19, 2019 Author Posted February 19, 2019 Hi MEB, Do you have an update regarding my question? Best regards Costantino Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 19, 2019 Staff Posted February 19, 2019 Hi Constantino, Sorry the delay. This is due to a bug rendering the file both on screen and when exporting. Unfortunately is also happens with the latest Beta. I've logged this/passed the file to the dev team for inspection and will update this thread as soon as there's some news. aruf Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Hi MEB, it seems, that the issue is still in Photo 1.7.2 Exported PDF's have different artifacts from export to export. If you provide a Link, I'll upload the exported files and original file. Best regards, Andy Quote
aruf Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 It has something to do with frames/rectangles... If i put all my layers together (combine visibles), then the export does not show this behavior. If i have a rectangle as a layer and put a picture below that layer, then the export issue is visible. The files used in the workbooks are only for reference and for use in working the exercises in the workbook. You cannot use them for other purposes, and all the .afphoto (and other .af-something) files are locked to prevent saving or exporting. Blippyd Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Thank you for the answer, the exercise talks you through the steps to export that particular file, that's why I thought it should have worked. Quote

It talks you through the steps of starting with an image (a .tiff file), applying various adjustments, and then exporting the file you've been working on. It also has a .afphoto file showing the results you should end up with. It sounds like you're trying to export the reference .afphoto file, not the file you created from the .tiff file.
