Reordering layers

Recommended Posts

Something I'd find really useful is being able to move layers up and down the stack using keyboard shortcuts, rather than having to drag them. Maybe it's just a question of getting used to it, but I find it way too easy to clip layers and so on, rather than just rearranging the order they are in.

By default, on Windows, Ctrl+] moves the selected object/layer up 1 place in the stack (Layer > Arrange > Forward One) and Ctrl+ [ moves it down in the stack (Layer > Arrange > Back One).

On Mac it is Command + ] (moves up) and vice versa with Command + [ (moves down)

Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks for that - it's the same as Photoshop and I thought I'd tried it and it didn't work. (I must be getting old :o)
