Affinity Photo not saving pallette locations

Recommended Posts

Affinity Photo doesn't seem to be saving my pallette locations. When I move and snap the layers pallette onto the left hand side I expect it to stay there for when I next open Affinity Photo - unfortunately this is not the case and I keep having to go to the View/Studio and having to tick the layers pallette which then adds it to the left hand side. WHATS THE ANSWER?

Hi Stuart_James :)

Sorry to hear it! Your layout should be saved between editing sessions. Could you please confirm the following option is ticked? View>Studio>Show Left Studio.

If so, it may help to reset your studio and try creating your custom layout again. Create a new document, then go to View>Studio>Reset Studio. Once done, rearrange your app such that your Studios are in the place you want them to be, then close the application. Reopen the app and create a new document, have your studios now been retained?

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
