ksrcreative Posted February 10, 2019 Share Posted February 10, 2019 HI, because of the memory issues that I seem to be getting with Publisher, I've done what people on the forum suggested and started splitting my book by chapters (I should say this is a very graphic intensive document), however, at some point I'm going to want to join some or all of them together. Can't Export, but you can Import into another document. If you like the paragraph and character styles in document A just import them into any new or existing document (after getting rid of the unwanted styles, recommended just to keep the styles list manageable). Use the hamburger menu (I hate that name) on the Styles Studio, top right. When you import Text from other documents , using a Style with the same name, and exact same settings, as an allready existing Style, Does Publisher nowtice this , and doesnt double the style ? ore does it get confusing now.. ksrcreative Posted February 13, 2019 Author Share Posted February 13, 2019 Hi Tom, when you import the text it brings up an import box which shows potential conflict. It's seems quite intuitive. I had already deleted all text styles before I imported, so there were no conflicts, so I can't comment as to how well that part of it works.
