Adding one document to another?

Recommended Posts

HI, because of the memory issues that I seem to be getting with Publisher, I've done what people on the forum suggested and started splitting my book by chapters (I should say this is a very graphic intensive document), however, at some point I'm going to want to join some or all of them together. Is there away of doing this?

Also, is there away of exporting paragraph and character styles into another document?

Regards

Karl

Can't Export, but you can Import into another document. If you like the paragraph and character styles in document A just import them into any new or existing document (after getting rid of the unwanted styles, recommended just to keep the styles list manageable). Use the hamburger menu (I hate that name) on the Styles Studio, top right.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

One Question about this..

When you import Text from other documents , using a Style with the same name, and exact same settings, as an allready existing Style,

Does Publisher nowtice this , and doesnt double the style ?  ore does it get confusing now..  Or,   does warn for douplicated style names  and so on....    How intelligent is this funktion ?

Any experiances allready ?
