Gradient Bitmap Fill missing options

Recommended Posts

I'm using Affinity Photo 1.6.5.123 for the PC When using the Gradient tool and choosing bitmap as the fill option once I load my texture there is no option on the context bar to wrap or mirror the edges as mentioned in the manual and seen on an online tutorial.

Can you send a screenshot? Is not this option available only in ADesigner?

Hi duckfanatic :)

When using a bitmap fill through the gradient tool on an object - a rectangle for example - you will be shown the Extend and Quality options.

When filling a Pixel layer with the aforementioned tool, these options are not offered, as the bitmap simply fills the canvas size. I hope this helps!

The feature also works in AP provided you use a vector shape! :)
