ASLdesigner
Hi y'all! I just purchased all of the programs but realized I don't know which one would be the best fit for creating digital downloads/products. I plan to develop templates with my uncolored (just black/white) designs where the customers can purchase and download then colorize or leave it as is. I purchased Designer, Photo and Publisher (I assume Publisher isn't the one obviously lol). Oh, after I created the templates, it'd be in letter size in both portrait and landscape. So is there a minimum or safe size for printing (customers to download and print out) without any designs cut off or off the mark that I should enter in the program? Like establish a permanent size for the future designs without starting all over again in scratch. Also, do I need to create two separate sizes - one for customers to print out at home and one for the professional printing company or can it be just one size for either? Thank you in advance for your inputs and suggestions. :^)

It sounds as though these designs are likely to be vector based, rather than raster. If this is the case then I'd certainly recommend Designer over Photo or Publisher. 5 hours ago, ASLdesigner said: is there a minimum or safe size for printing (customers to download and print out) without any designs cut off or off the mark that I should enter in the program? The margins of a printer will vary between model, AFAIK there is not industry standard for these figures, but I may be wrong here. 5 hours ago, ASLdesigner said: do I need to create two separate sizes - one for customers to print out at home and one for the professional printing company or can it be just one size for eithe Again, this depends on the printer, paper size and if the specific printing company has any caveats that must be fulfilled to use their service. Unfortunately there is no 'one size suits all' answer here.
