walt.farrell Posted February 9, 2019 Share Posted February 9, 2019 I agree with v_kyr; if you selected transparent background when using File > New (or when using the Document menu) you should have the checkerboard pattern. Are you seeing the problem while editing the document, or after exporting it? Could you attach a screenshot (jpg or png) of your Affinity workspace, and of the Document menu, including the Layers panel, so we can see what you're seeing?
