Picture Frame Retangle is not enough

Recommended Posts

Hi,

in Adobe Indesign you can use every form or mask to fill with an image.
In Affinity Publisher you only have a Picture Frame Retangle. You can convert it to curves, but this is very laborious to get the form you need/want.

For me, this is a "must have" feature and without this function as Indesign has, I would not purchase affinity publisher.

Or am I missing something and I can do the same with publisher?

Does it supports masks in the meantime? Thanks in advance

You can apply masks to any object. To picture frames, too. Look for the little icon at the bottom of the layers panel:

Thank you. Would be nice if you could use a brush for transparent masks :)

I assume this will come with the Photo Persona. Indeed, APub does not have a brush tool and masks are of limited use for now.
