Drag to select objects

Recommended Posts

Clicking and dragging the cursor to select objects appears to only select the object if you drag around the entire object. I much prefer how InDesign works where dragging around even part of the object would select it. Is there an option for that, and if not I would suggest it be added.

In Edit > Preferences, Tools there is an option to do that

On Windows anyway, not sure where it is for you Mac people

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Preferences is in the application menu on the Mac, where it belongs (as you are not setting preferences for a specific edit but rather for the application) - so that would be Affinity Publisher -> Preferences, Tools
