Insert table in a text box

Recommended Posts

You can place a table in a text frame and have the text wrap around it just like an image but you can't anchor it to the text

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hello @Jeremy Bohn,

currently it is not possible to create a table inside a text box. What you can do is to create a table seperately, move it over the text box and assign the table 'Text Wrap' option (like 'Jump'). But this does not move the table along with the text and it has to be repositioned manually.

Another option would be to create a table like text with tab stops. For some kind of simple tables this could work and it would flow with the surronding paragraphs.

Note: objects (images, tables, vectorobjects) that flow with the text is on the developer's to do list. It's just not there, yet.
