Support for Panasonic LX100M2?

Recommended Posts

As a prospective customer, it’s unclear to me whether the Panasonic LX100 II currently is supported by either the commercial v. 1.6 or the 1.7 beta.

According to a November 27, 2018, post by moderator Dan C, the Windows version of Affinity Photo, which I would need, uses LibRaw.  According to a December 13, 2018, blog entry by lexa at libraw.org, as of December 12, 2018, LibRaw supports the LX100M2.

But I can’t find anything from Serif or about Affinity Photo that speaks on or after December 12, 2018, and says whether the LX100M2 is supported.

If it is supported, which program version(s) support it and what is the nature/extent of the support?

If the LX100M2 isn’t currently supported for Windows, in light of its reported support by LibRaw, when will it be?

Also, as it’s not possible to try-out the iPad version, can it be confirmed that, because Apple lists the LX100M2 as supported under IOS 12 that Affinity Photo for the iPad indeed supports the camera?

Thank you.

Hi Reb dovid,

Welcome to the forums :)

If this camera is on our Apples Core RAW list then it will work in the iPad version of the app. It however isn't on our Supported RAW list which means it might not work with Affinity. If you could provide a sample file from this camera I can test this further for you.

Thanks

Callum
