Jumping line when drawing with apple pen

Recommended Posts

Hi @JackieF,

Welcome to the forums.

Can you please send us a screen recording from the iPad when using this brush and the first brush from the "assorted" category? When you do the screen recording, make sure you turn " Show touches" from within the app's General Preference.

What Cap, Join, Align and mitre limit have you got for that brush? You can find these in the Stroke Studio > Advanced.

Thanks,

Gabe.

Hello! thanks for the response!

It seems like it's related to the cap on the line. I'm not to so satisfied how the line behaves in general. it's glitchy and a bit wobbly..

You still seem to be using a textured brush and not a solid brush. Try this. Open the Brush Studio. Tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top right corner, select "New solid brush" and press ok. Scroll to the bottom of your brush list and select the last brush. See how that goes.

It really depends on how you set the texture on that brush. Textured brushes will have that "line"(longer or shorter) in front until you stop moving the pen, because it cannot guess your next action.
