Novice illustrator with a Surface Pro 4 here! I was wondering if it's possible to download the ipad version of Affinity Designer onto a Surface Pro 4, as well as if there are any major differences or pro/cons to one version over the other. I'm currently working with a program called Sketchable and I love everything about it except the ability to work in vector; I especially don't want to lose any of the quality with ability to (1) rotate/resize the canvas without lag, (2) hand vs. pen tip recognition - this is pretty good/could be better in Sketchable but is a necessary feature to some degree since I use the side of my hand on the surface for stability.

Also looking for any general opinions or responses on illustrating in Adobe Illustrator vs. Affinity Design (desktop or iPad) vs. Sketchable?

Many thanks! :)

Hi Mackenziekoltz,

Welcome to the forums :)

There is no way to get the iPad version on a Surface I'm afraid.
