Can we have a set of emoticons that represent the icons in the apps, I think this would be a cool addition, like the 563848160_EraseBrush(e)_32.png.c753d8a625bec4d3069982519544a1c0.png or the 1930987889_FloodFillTool(g)_32.png.924ba4e7b081b32caaf290cac143aaa6.png or even the 1988664181_FillTool(g)_32.png.ffe09a74eeff0a7c8026f88eaa6013c7.png I love to 1943560817_DecreaseBrushSize()_32.png.8a2018503badcbd8aa53fc5641ef0e24.png and then 1141356022_IncreaseBrushSize()_32_2.png.ea0a2ddf3c4f2996acaefbf488b05126.png hahaha but1355465254_MoveTool(v)_32.png.e3152c4b6c61727359397ba470a3aa16.png ing on... heaven 496238498_NodeTool(a)_32.png.d4898f88b9518fc37ada29b84a327734.png where this will end...

I would much rather see some Affinity-specific emojis among the choices than all the animal ones which I rarely if ever would use in this forum.

I am not :214_lion_face: about that, so I hope they will stop :220_monkey_face:-ing around & add them sometime soon.

I've just ripped out all the icons from the keyboard shortcuts afdesign files so that I can better show what I'm referring to in posts, being a visual person I like the idea of app emoticons, the animal ones can be released back into the wild lol!

You can get them in the help of each application too.

On Windows:  _program_folder_\Affinity\Affinity Photo\PhotoHelp\Contents\Resources\shared

It should be the same on Mac, it's just more tricky to open an application's folder :)

The path for Macs is /Applications/Affinity Photo.app/Contents/Resources. The tricky part is sifting through the nearly 2800 items in that folder to find the tool icons. Most of them have 4 variations, 2 each for the light & dark UI & for the normal & 2x size required for retina displays.
