JokerMartini
I find myself often times opening Affinity Designer just to copy over a Shape I've made in Affinity Photo, just to use Expand To Stroke, then copying back into photo. Is there any way we could simply add this Shape feature into Photo? Thanks
Alfred
This thread is about a suggestion for Affinity Photo, but it’s currently in the ‘Suggestions for Affinity Designer on Desktop’ forum section. That aside, I’m afraid I don’t quite understand why APh needs this vector feature. walt.farrell
I'm not sure of all the ramifications of using Layer > Expand Stroke in Designer, but in Photo, doesn't Layer > Convert to Curves do something very similar? Staff MEB Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2019 Layer ▸ Convert To Curves converts (parametric) shapes or text to curves, not strokes. Only the Expand Stroke command in Designer transforms (expand) strokes into curves (shapes). Thread moved to Suggestions for Affinity Photo on Desktop section. walt.farrell 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
