Jim Stewart Posted February 3, 2019 Share Posted February 3, 2019 I'm brand new to photo editing (mostly) and to Affinity. When I follow instructions to open a photo, it appears in the lower right corner under the Navigator tab, but never in what I'd call the viewing area. I've exhausted my intuition. The photo shows up in the lower right-hand corner: And it's not exactly what I see, but probably close enough. What I see is the viewing area as black, not white. Old Bruce: I may have opened the macro studio in my intuitive efforts to solve my dilemma. This all happened (didn't happen, really) the first time I opened Affinity. I've closed it, now. I doubt it will make much difference but worth a go.
