Euclide
Hi everyone Is there a way to memorize a setting ? For instance a style of brush and its size ?
Staff Gabe Posted February 3, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 3, 2019 Hi @Euclide, Welcome to the forums. You can create a new brush if you want to. Euclide
Thanks a lot Gabriel I read this doc but I have an issue… This is what I did : 1- I opened the small square menu with horizontal lines at the top on the right > I selected "add a category" 2- I opened the small square menu again with horizontal lines at the top> I selected "Rename" 3- I opened the small square menu again with horizontal lines at the top> I selected "new plain brush" 4- I went to edition> I set size, curve etc… I call this new pencil : "try" But when I open a new page and I select this new brush "Try" and draw a line : it is not the line "try" but the very fine thread with nods that appears when one trace with the pencil the first time… It seems that this new brush has not been saved…
Staff Gabe Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2019 It sounds right. It might be just the size of the brush too small. The nodes you see are expected, as you're using the vector brush tool.
BJP
Where do I find the “nozzle 1.png” file to download? Says provided in resources, don’t know where to find this. Thanks
Alfred
There’s a download button in the Affinity Spotlight article. I can’t open the web page itself right now, but the zip archive for the DAUB vector brush nozzles is here: https://resources.serif.com/spotlight/learning/DAUB-vector-brush-nozzles.zip Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
