occasionalpiece Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 My title about says it all: after making a custom palette in Publisher Beta (227), I was unable to import it into Designer. I attempted to import it in all ways: application, document, or system. Will this be fixed in the final release? I assume it's because the programs aren't communicating too well in Beta. thanks.
occasionalpiece Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 I used a workaround of creating palatte from image. But still thought you'd like to know...

walt.farrell Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Generally the stable/released versions can't understand things created with the beta versions. Even copying to the clipboard in a beta and pasting into the stable version is unlikely to work. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Staff Sean P Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Posted February 4, 2019 Hi occasionalpiece, Walt is correct, due to changes in the file format, 1.6 applications cannot understand any file created from 1.7. However if you were to import this into 1.7 Designer (currently in Beta) then it should work for you. occasionalpiece 1
