Staff MEB Posted February 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 2, 2019 Hi der8ecker, Welcome to Affinity Forums I'm assuming your camera is a Canon EOS 2000D (Rebel T7). Our RAW engine Serif Labs still doesn't support it but if you are using a Mac you can switch the RAW engine to Apple (Core Image RAW) engine which does support it. To do it, open a RAW file, go to menu View ▸ Assistant... and change the first dropdown (RAW Engine) to Apple Camera RAW. Reload the image/RAW file and it should display correctly (the Apple engine is not available in affinity Photo for Windows since it's provided by the App OS). Staff MEB Posted February 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 2, 2019 Hi der8ecker, No, only a few third party plugins (basic image filters) will work in Affinity Photo, sorry. You can use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAW's (CR2) to DNG and open the DNG in Affinity Photo. Serif Labs engine should load them correctly (it does on a Mac). Staff MEB Posted February 2, 2019 Staff Share Posted February 2, 2019 Hi der8ecker, Not sure I understood you question. I have edited my reply above to suggest you a solution. You probably didn't saw/read the changes I made. You can use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAW's (CR2) to DNG and open the DNG's in Affinity Photo. The Serif Labs engine will load them correctly (works on Mac and Windows). Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
