Funn4Lo Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I have never tried to stitch RAW files before. I thought I would try today. I am using Kolor AutoPano to stitch. It stitched 34 DNG files beautifully. The only RAW output in AutoPano is a .kro file. Affinity will not open it. I am guessing that means I am out of luck. But thought I would ask about the .kro file anyway Quote
Staff Lee D Posted February 1, 2019 Staff Posted February 1, 2019 That's a RAW format that Affinity Photo doesn't support, see our supported RAW list for more info. To open in Affinity you could try using Adobes DNG converter, if it also supports that format to convert to .DNG to then open in Affinity. Quote
John Rostron Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I would guess that exporting from AutoPano as a 16-bit tiff, you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference from a raw file. I used to use AutoPano, but I have hardly done so since I have had the later versions of Affinity Photo. (Earlier versions were very slow!)
