I'm having problems - I'm following one of the video tutorials about the flood tool on the tree photo. (on a Mac)

I click on the blue sky and it selects it all fine, he then tells you to invert it to select the tree, thats the problem,

he says to invert, you need to press cmd, shift and i, it works on the video, but when I tried it, 'Siri' pops up

and the sky turns a light brown colour similar to the tree........I must have tried a dozen times now, and it does the same thing every time!

I'm going slightly nuts now lol....I've attached the photo I'm using

Could be that Siri has hijacked that key combination. Try Select> Invert Selection. That will invert your selection.

Perfect, worked first time! I'll just stick to shortcuts that work from now on, thanks :)

As mentioned here, the default "Ask Siri" keyboard shortcut is pressing and holding the Command key and the Space bar at the same time, but you can set it to whatever you want, or disable the feature completely.
