I'm experiencing a weird flashing and distortion issue when using the Perspective Tool. When an image layer is selected and the Perspective tool is active while adjusting the Opacity in Layers, there is a shuddering distortion and flashing of the image when sliding the Opacity slider at the same time.

Also occurs when using the Warp Mesh Tool

I cannot capture this behavior in a screen shot.

The behavior of opacity slider is strange by itself. I move it left and right, while on your background layer - and until i loose the mouse button - the engine do not updating opacity state. This is weird anyway.

I can confirm that here using any image. The Perspective and Mesh warp tools are the only ones where this occurs. It also happens in the current stable release, 1.6.5.135
