I have, what I believe to be a related issue. I am running publisher Beta for windows on my surface pro. last year I acquired a Dell xps and was able to install a beta on that - I think realistically that will be the machine I will run the purchased version on - when that is released.

however I can update the surface pro version and it just works. When I try and update the beta version on the dell it tells me that my beta has expires and won't let me update that version.

on a paid for copy that makes sense. For a beta version when I am trying out which machine works best, it doesn't. Is there a way I can resolve this?

regards

As a fall-back you could simply uninstall and reinstall since the beta is free

Hi john123,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
We usually limit the betas to a month to prevent people from using older versions which may contain bugs already fixed in the most recent one(s). If you are having trouble updating the Beta uninstall it - as suggested by ubiquity - and install it again. You can download the most recent one (1.7.0.227) from this thread.
