Seneca
You can find and replace a piece of text in Publisher but if you also want to assign a new Paragraph Style to the paragraph where the find occurs publisher only assigns this paragraph style to the selected text, effectively applying only character style. Since paragraph styles apply to entire paragraphs Publisher should apply the style to the whole paragraph and not only to the selected text. The only way I could get the expected behaviour was to have the replace field blank and then do a second pass (to do the string replacement) after applying the Paragraph Style. This is certainly a very bad bug. What is even stranger is that the replacement string is the only bit of the paragraph reporting that it has changed, the rest of the paragraph is the original Paragraph Style. We have one paragraph with two styles applied to separate parts. I just checked and the location of the replacement string does not matter. Beginning or middle of the paragraph we see the same application of different paragraph styles. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
